One of our more commercial projects for a local developer. Canada Bay Council would not allow at the time multi-unit development in this part of Chiswick. The design proposed to Council involved subdividing the site into four lots and creating a mews-like access to the rear lots and then constructing two dual occupancies on each lot. Council had no issue with this approach which achieved the same outcome of eight townhouses on the site. The front four townhouses comprised three bedroom dwellings over a double garage on the lower ground floor with a roof top access. The rear dwellings were of a lower scale and only two storeys.
